I biked from Früstenwalde to Berlin August 31st, last bike tour of this summer officially. This time I biked with Robin. Our initial plan was to go to Cottbus to start Spree-Radweg tour but the train was full. We spontaneously took next train on the station. We ended up in Früstenwalde and accidentally had a very good biking day.
Summary
- Route: Früstenwalde – Erkner – Köpenick – Berlin
- Distance: 58 km
- Duration: 4 hours
- Road condition: 75% asphalt bike road, 20% car road, 5% paved road

Notes
- The trains were very crowded. It was discouraging when we couldn’t get the train to Cottbus. They were all full. Next time I would take the train at earlier stations.
- We quickly checked where else we can go and decided to take next train and get off in Früstenwalde. It was also very crowded but we managed.
- It was a good summer day for Berlin, around 24 degrees and sunny.
- It was easy and comfortable ride from the beginning to end.
- When we left Erkner, we biked along Müggelspree river. This was my favorite part.
- We finished at Treptower park with a fish burger.
